Tilted Tree Studio is a 2 bed / 1 bath loft with a (very) open plan design.

Our creative shop conversion brings the outside in (or is it the inside out?). With the press of a button the main floor opens up to a private screened patio where you can unwind and enjoy a cool sip in the shade.

The main floor also features the 1st queen size bed. Adjoining is the bathroom with a river stone shower and composting toilet (more on that eco-friendly feature in the House Guide).

In the kitchen area you'll find an induction stovetop, fridge/freezer, and basic cookware to prepare and enjoy meals during your stay. We're proud to provide locally roasted coffee from End of the Road to help kickstart your day.

The living area offers a TV and comfy sectional. Log in to your personal streaming services, or just put your feet up after a long day's hike.

A handhewn staircase brings you up to the loft and a 2nd queen size bed. Curl up with a book from our share library, or play a few rounds of Catan. Note this cozy space has a very low ceiling, so taller friends will need to watch their heads!

Our location:

Tilted Trees Studio is tucked between Hagensborg and Firvale in the Bella Coola Valley.

Our small farm sits at the base of Mt Nusatsum, offering stunning views and easy access to local hikes (including our private trails).

Guest access
Guests have full & private access to the suite and attached patio - make yourselves at home.

Guests also have access to walking trails on our property but please be bear aware.

Other things to note
We have two very friendly off-leash dogs on the property. You may occasionally hear them howling, letting bears and other predators know to keep on their side of the forest. They love to be thanked for their hard work! but please don't feed them food or treats (even if they ask nicely).

We also use electric fences on the property to deter animals from our fruit trees and other farmed foods.

The perimeter of our property is unfenced. While the pond, creeks, and forest are fun to to explore, it also means kids must be closely supervised at all times. If you are planning to bring little ones along, you must chat with us in advance.
