Both Bella Coola & Hagensborg have essential services including retail outlets for groceries & hardware, gas stations and repair shops, Canada Post offices, gift shops & places to purchase fishing licenses. Organic foods can also be found in the Valley at both grocery stores & Mountain Valley Organics.

Contact the Bella Coola Harbour Authority regarding boating regulations & assistance. The Bella Coola General Hospital has a walk-in clinic and a pharmacy. There is no full-time veterinary service in the Valley.
