Nusatsum cabins are centrally located in the Bella Coola Valley, 10 minutes east of Hagensborg, and 30 minutes west of Tweedsmuir Park bear viewing station. Our 15 acres border the Nusatsum River, take a stroll on the trails for stunning valley views, look for a sandy spot, or find that perfect rock.
Cabins are well equipped with everything you need. Full kitchen for cooking, cozy duvets, local books, and the sound of the Nusatsum River through the forest. BBQs, outdoor fire pits and picnic tables make outdoor living fun and easy. Children are welcome, highchairs and toys are available. Two of our cabins have laundry facilities and wood stoves for ambience in the winter season. Our rates vary between cabins and seasons, feel free to ask for our off season and multiple night rates. The smaller Cedar and Red cabins are suited for a couple. The Log Cabin is suited for families, sleeping a couple and 2 singles. Our largest and newest Cottonwood cottage has 2 separate bedrooms. They are all ready to move right in and make yourself at home.
The fjords leading west from Bella Coola offer an abundance of stunning vistas and natural wonders. Hot springs, "the big tree", Mackenzie Rock, marine wildlife viewing, and fresh seafood await the explorer. Our experienced guides, and coast guard certified boats can show you the sights in comfort and safety. Morning departures from the Government Wharf for up to 4 persons. Custom multi day trips, including cabin accommodation at our Hunter Island property in the Bella Bella area available. Come play with the dolphins.
