Red Cariboo Resort is the perfect place to stay and rest on a road trip from Williams Lake (340 km) down “The Hill” to Bella Coola (120 km). It is a new holiday destination in the Western Chilcotin for all guests who want to explore the real wilderness of British Columbia.
Endless hikes, crystal clear rivers and lakes, mountains covered with snow and a wide range of plants and animals are here to be discovered. Tweedsmuir Park with the Rainbow Range Mountains, Charlotte Alplands with its countless alpine lakes, the Precipice Canyon with Hotnarko Falls, and much more stunning places are just around the corner.
The resort’s super cozy, private cabins offer lots of amenities to feel totally comfortable for up to 6 persons, having a breathtaking view. They are built on 60 hectares of wild land, surrounded by untouched nature directly at the waterfront from Dean River. Horses are running free on the property. For preparing meals a big community kitchen is on site.
Red Cariboo Apartments, fully equipped with kitchen for self-sufficiency for up to 4 persons, are facing the Anahim Lake and have direct water access. The common area has a patio with a gazebo featuring a propane fire pit and a large, covered picnic table which has a magnificent view on the lake and the surrounding mountains, a real peaceful getaway!
The Resort offers various activities in summer, like horse-riding, fishing, canoeing, mountain-biking, and winter, like snowshoeing, winter-riding, and ice-fishing. In the evening guests can relax at the BBQ or play billiards, table-football, or darts in the main lobby.
Reconnect to nature and just listen to its sound of silence – the voices of the wild animals, the songs of the birds, or the fish jumping out of the water surface.
