The Lodge – Nestled within Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, the largest protected park in BC, the Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is ideally located as a comfortable base for hikes into the Rainbow Mountains, along the Alexander Mackenzie Trail, as well as to Lonesome Lake, Hunlen Falls & Turner Lake. Adventure Tours – Guided environmentally sensitive ecotours, river drifting, glacier flight seeing, ocean fishing and outings, horseback riding, float plane, helicopter or canoe trips can be arranged through the lodge. Registered guides are available.
For photographers, bird watchers & wildlife enthusiasts the lodge property & surrounding wilderness are a dream come true.
Depending on the season you will see grizzly and black bears, mountain goats, deer, moose, caribou, eagles, trumpeter swans and a wide variety of plants and wild flowers.
There are also fascinating archaeological sites and remains of pioneer homesteads to explore.

Dining: We offer a full selection of spirits and award winning wines to compliment any culinary choice. International cuisine is prepared in the lodge kitchen with fresh ingredients and some of these come from the Bella Coola Valley, including fresh local fish and seafood.
Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is nestled within Tweedsmuir Park, the largest protected park in British Columbia. 70 km’s by road from the Bella Coola Harbour, the lodge is remotely situated on 60 acres of wilderness land.
Originally built in the early 1930´s as a hunting lodge it was rebuilt in 1952. The only wilderness lodge in the valley is known for its warm, family style environment.
From Williams Lake:Hwy 20 to Tweedsmuir Park . Tweedsmuir Park Lodge is located 15 minutes west of the bottom of Hwy 20’s “Hill”.
From BC Ferries: 40 minutes West on Hwy 20. .Before the BC Ferries start running in mid June, you can arrive by air using our charter service provided by Pacific Coastal Air. You also have the option to fly your own plane to the Bella Coola  airport or land your  private / chartered helicopter on the meadow in front of the Lodge.
Open year round: The Lodge operates world class heliskiing from December to May & a special tour that consists of big corn heliskiing & big King Salmon fishing, during the month of June. The Summer Operations run from June to October.
